In general
All SWISSFLEX brand glasses bear the CE mark and therefore meet the requirements of the European Directive 89/686/EEC, EN ISO 12312-1 and the US standards ANSI Z80.3 2015 and AS/NZS 1067:2003/AMDT 1:2009.

Restriction on use
SWISSFLEX sunglasses protect against harmful UVA and UVB radiation up to 400 nm, but do not provide sufficient protection against direct UV radiation (e.g., in a solarium). They are not suitable for looking directly at the sun, observing a solar eclipse, or looking at direct artificial light sources (e.g., solarium).
Sensitivity to light and glare, especially in strong light conditions (snow, beach, open sea), varies from person to person. Lighter filters (cat. 0 and 1) protect against UV rays but reduce the perceived solar radiation less.
SWISSFLEX sunglasses and sports glasses are not suitable for driving at night or in poor visibility conditions.
They are sufficiently impact-resistant in accordance with EN ISO 12312-1 and USA ANSI Z80.3-2015, AS/ NZS 1067:2003/AMDT 1:2009, but are not unbreakable.
Under heavy mechanical stress, the glasses may break and cause injury.
SWISSFLEX accepts no liability for any damage resulting from improper use of the sunglasses.
Store

The glasses should be stored in their case at temperatures between -10°C and +35°C. They should not be exposed to sunlight in enclosed, unventilated areas (e.g., on the dashboard of a vehicle), as the temperature under these conditions can rise to such an extent that the functionality of the glasses may be impaired.

Care & Cleaning
Sunglasses must be cleaned very carefully! Remove dust from the lenses by blowing gently, then wipe with a soft cotton cloth or a special lens cleaning cloth. Do not use cleaning agents, paper tissues, or other materials that may contain wood fibers.
Do not use solvents (such as alcohol or acetone) or aggressive chemical cleaning agents.
Markings
Filter category (protection index) is identified by a number and a letter.
The number indicates the filter category and the corresponding light transmission (see table above), and the letter indicates the filter type (N=normal/unchanged, P=polarized, F=photochromic). In the case of photochromic lenses (F), the filter category is specified for both the faded and darkened states. The filter category and light transmission coefficient can be found in the light transmission diagram.

Control
Before putting on the glasses, check that they are not damaged. If there are any scratches or other defects, the glasses must be repaired or replaced, as they may no longer provide adequate protection against UVA and UVB radiation.
Worn lenses (e.g., scratched or cloudy lenses) must be replaced with original parts.
Warranty
The warranty for any material or manufacturing defects is valid for 2 years from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover defects resulting from normal wear and tear, modifications, incorrect storage, improper care, or use that deviates from the specified conditions of use.
